Welcome...

The Mitigation Momentum project aims to support the development of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) by contributing to the concrete development of NAMA proposals, and foster cooperation and knowledge exchange within the NAMA community. The overall objectives of the project are:

• Advancing NAMA development in a selected number of countries
• Contributing to knowledge on NAMA development and best practice
• Increase knowledge sharing and cooperation among the NAMA community
• Advancing the international climate policy debate on mitigation

The project is a collaboration between ECN Policy Studies and Ecofys Germany.
The project is part of the International Climate Initiative. The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety supports this initiative on the basis of a decision adopted by the German Bundestag.
